  3. +                               STARTING TRANSMISSION MODE

  5. +  Option 1 of the MAIN MENU switches you to the part of the program which
  6. +  enables you to receive and transmit data via the modem.

  8. +  The Status Line displayed at the top of the screen gives a summary of the
  9. +  Control commands.  "CTL-" means that the Control key (to the left of 
  10. +  the letter A) is to be held down while the command key is pressed.  Thus
  11. +  "CTL-Q" means "Hold down the Control key while you press the letter Q". 
  12. +  This action will switch you back to the TERMINAL MANAGER menu displays.

  14. +  CTL-R  -  This tells the program to store incoming data in memory.  Later,
